Over the past several days, the rain has been causing damage all over the North-East. Within the next day or two, we are expected to see another 4 inches in the Westchester County area. Let me take this opportunity to remind everyone that vigilance can prevent disaster. Check basements, sump-pumps, roofs, gutters, etc. to prevent water damage. We have already begun to get phone calls from customers with flooded basements and leaking roofs. The ground is already soaked, so any further rain will pool, puddle and run to the lowest point on your property. If the lowest point on your property happens to be next to the foundation of your home, it could very well create future water damage. If you have already incurred water damage, give us a call as soon as possible. Water damage in your residential or commercial property can lead to mold if it is not remediated properly. Dont let damage to your property turn into a catastrophe!
